On June 17, 2021, the first official meeting on RESPECT project took place. The meeting was held virtually due to the epidemiological situation, but we hope that the next ones can be face-to-face.
This meeting was a first contact with the RESPEC project. It was attended by the main partners of RESPECT project, Christoffer Laustsen (Aarhus University- AU, Denmark), Frank Zoellner (Heidelberg University -UHEI, Germany), María Fernandez-Seara (Clínica Universidad de Navarra – UNAV, Spain), Susan Francis (University of Nottingham-UoN, UK), Constantin Suciu from Siemens SRL (Romania) accompanied by their research groups and the project coordinator Anna Caroli (Istituto di Ricerche Farmacologiche Mario Negri IRCCS -IRFMN, Italy).
The main purpose of this meeting was to discuss the objectives as well as the milestones, partners role, risks and the development of the project over time. The project has an approximate duration of 36 months and is divided into 6 complementary and interlinked work packages (WPs). Each one of them is led by one country and tasks are divided among partners to be fulfilled. The tasks were explained in detail and lastly, the management structure was discussed, regarding the quality board, the patients representative board, the ethics and external advisory boards .
Future meetings will be held to review the progress of the work and any problems that may arise.
